AMPED Blog
The Count Down
Hey everyone, so the countdown to Christmas is in full swing with 16 days left, but we can't forget about AMPED now. With only two more AMPED services left in the year I just wanted to remind every one that the first AMPED of the new year will be on January 9th, we will also be starting AMPED at the new 114 campus as well as the NRH campus. So DON'T miss the last two messages and have a Merry Christmas.

Revolutionary Running
Here we are again, summertime, and summer means CAMPED.
It really works!
What am I talking about? Is it something I saw on an infomercial late last night? Is it a miracle drug that someone told me about at Vitamin Shoppe? Nope. It's prayer.
Now, when i say it's prayer, don't change the channel or turn the page, thinking to yourself you've heard it before. I'm praying you catch a new revelation. I am praying for you to get it. I am praying that the right people read this blog and feel compelled to pray.
how much tv?
There is a new study out that shows kids watch about 4 1/2 hours of tv each day. Check it out at kff.org
Revolution 2010
"Revolutions, in history, invariably assume the character of a revolt of an oppressed people against a Government not of its own choosing." - New York Times article, August 27, 1861
Wonderful Time
Usually in December we talk about it being "the most wonderful time of the year." I have to wonder though, just because its wonderful for me, does that make it wonderful for everyone else around me? Many times over the years I have learned that I am painfullly unaware of those around me. Call it pride, call it arrogance, call it an unhealthy preoccupation with myself, but I naturally have a tendency to only focus on the issues that affect me, good and bad.

His name is Drew Pinsky but he is known on TV and radio as Dr Drew. I first learned of him many years ago when he had a call-in radio show on MTV that was extremely crass and crude. I have not had any respect for the man known as Dr Drew, but in this recent interview he really touched on a topic that some of us in the church have been screaming for years; it is unhealthy for our teens to study and follow many of the celebrities they see
